Day 44: BEST PRACTICES

Day 44:  BEST PRACTICES  In 2005 a utility company hired us to determine what made some of their small towns successful.  We interviewed the communities and reviewed demographics, etc to determine what made them the best they could be.  They were in five different states and the population ranged from 1500 to 5000.  From that we designed the results around the words BEST PRACTICES.  One of the organizations had no staff.  The others had one or two people.  One thing was clear:  they all had great leadership and a set of goals.  But they also had several other activities they were doing to be successful.  Over the next several days I will write about each topic.  We love to go in and complete assessments with communities using the BEST PRACTICES.  Next:  Building
