Day 98: Have I Updated My Data?

Day 98:  Have I updated my data?  When we do our site selection work, we are always amazed about how old a lot of the websites we look at.  Many economic development organizations have not touched their website since they put them online which could have been five years ago.  While, websites can start to show their age, I am more concerned with the content.  You should, at the very least, have content that is no more than a year old.  The data should also be easy to find.  It must be current.  The first way to correct this is ask someone that is not familiar with your site to look it over and offer their impression.  Then ask them to check the data on the site.  If it is more than a year old, fix it now!  Next:  If I have a plan, should I follow it?
